A HiFu (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) Face Lifting Treatment is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses focused ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin on the face and neck. It is sometimes referred to as the "non-surgical facelift." During a HiFu treatment, a handheld device is used to deliver ultrasound waves deep into the layers of the skin, where they heat and stimulate the production of collagen. Collagen is a protein that provides support to the skin, and as we age, our collagen levels decrease, leading to sagging and wrinkling. The HiFu device allows the technician to target specific areas of the face and neck, such as the forehead, cheeks, jowls, and neck. The procedure is typically painless, although some patients may experience mild discomfort or tingling during the treatment. This treatment typically takes between 30 and 90 minutes to complete, depending on the size of the area being treated. Most patients only require one session to see results, although some may benefit from additional treatments over time. After the treatment, patients may experience some redness, swelling, or mild bruising, but these symptoms usually subside within a few days. Results can be seen immediately after the treatment and continue to improve over time as the collagen production increases. The skin appears lifted, tighter, and more youthful, with improved texture and toned.
